Job Type: Full-time with flexible schedule (possible evenings and weekends)

We pride ourselves on maintaining a family-focused company while putting our clients first. We specialize in residential roofing, siding, and gutters. Powers Roofing is seeking motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented canvassers to join our team. You will work with your manager to map out specific neighborhoods, and we will provide all of the material you will need to set appointments. You will be expected to travel to these predetermined neighborhoods, door-to-door, seeking to set sales opportunities for our in-house salesmen. That's it, set appointments – no selling. The position is to make qualified homeowners aware of our services and the benefits of working with Powers Roofing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies and travels to assigned locations
• Door-to-door canvassing to set in-home appointments for our sales reps
• Provides each prospect flyers or brochures about our services
• Builds a connection with people
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct
• Documents public engagement and records feedback
• Prepares and submits end-of-day reports
• Generates leads and creates a summary of market data

Candidates MUST possess the following:

• A willingness to learn and be trained
• Proficiency in using current technology such as smartphones, tablets, email, etc.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Previous canvassing or face-to-face selling experience preferred
• Exemplary communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to stand and walk for extended hours
• Able to maintain a high level of energy and a positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• No criminal background and a valid driver's license

The Ideal Candidate will also have:

• Previous canvassing experience
• Desire to move up to a Field Sales Representative for increased compensation
