Powers Roofing is seeking a Skilled Roof Repair Technician to join our growing team and help achieve our goal of becoming the most trusted Residential Roofing Company in Northeast Ohio.
Job Responsibilities:
Working along with the Project Coordinator to coordinate job scheduling, prep of material and equipment/tools for each job; contact homeowners if necessary
Contacting the homeowner and Project Coordinator with any updates and/or any unforeseen occurrences during construction that is beyond the original scope
Ensuring that the vehicle is well maintained and cleaned at the end of each shift (this includes vehicle maintenance, such as gas, oil changes, brakes, etc.) If something is needed beyond normal maintenance it is your responsibility to notify the Repair Manager as soon as possible
Various roofing repairs, including chimney tuckpointing
Fascia/soffit and siding repairs
Minor carpentry work
Responsibility for company credit/gas card transactions and turning ALL receipts in with job name listed at the end of each shift, but no later than Friday of that week
Any material purchases MUST include a customer name, and all receipts turned in
Any tool/equipment purchases MUST be pre-approved by management, and all receipts must be turned in. Each piece of equipment/tool must be labeled and applied to the inventory list
Updating all photos and notes in Job Nimbus for work completed and any photos taken prior to and during construction
Ensure that unused material is returned to the supplier
On rainy days, coordinate with Project Manager and repair techs to clean the back of the shop
Additional responsibilities beyond included scope may apply as needed. All responsibilities are subject to change to accommodate the company's needs at that time
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to safely and comfortably walk on a roof
Must have reliable transportation to work
Must have small hand tools (all other tools provided)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
Strong customer service required (working with homeowners)
Ability to manage time and schedule efficiently
Be able to work early mornings and possibly late evenings
Must be a team player and easy to work with
Possess a willingness to learn

Construction background
EPDM, TPC, other flat roof
Metal work
Asphalt shingles
