Powers Roofing is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help achieve our goal of becoming the most trusted Residential Roofing Company in Northeast Ohio.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Work company provided leads and create self-generated leads
Deliver in-person sales presentations to household decision-maker(s) to discuss their home improvement needs
Prepare estimates based on current labor and material prices
Meet with homeowners to assess the extent of storm damage to the home's exterior
Meet with insurance adjusters to conduct inspections and complete the sale
Create and maintain long-lasting customer relationships
Respond to all phone and email messages from other team members and/or customers in a timely manner
Attend weekly sales meeting
Attend periodic continuing education seminars
Use the newest technology tools in your sales presentations
Attain sales and margin goals
Candidates MUST possess the following:
A willingness to learn and be trained
Superior customer service and sales skills (training provided)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding company sales goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to work independently or in a team environment
Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time wisely
Proficiency in using current technology such as smartphones, tablets, email, etc.
Flexible schedule during our busy season (May - October)
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Physical ability to climb ladders and stand/walk on roofs
The Ideal Candidate will also have:
Knowledge of roofing and siding materials and product lines
Previous sales experience
Ability to read and interpret insurance paperwork for homeowners' claims and experience evaluating storm damage
